Call Foundation

In 2007, our founder Crystal Maggelet established the Call Foundation to support Utah students who needed access to higher education and technical training. She believed – and continues to believe – that education is the key to success. Since that time, the foundation has awarded more than $6.6 million in scholarships to students throughout the State of Utah. Call Foundation also provides grants to nonprofit organizations that assist underserved children and working families, such as United Way of Salt Lake, YWCA Utah, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake and Davis Education Foundation.

Call to Action Foundation

In 2022, the Call to Action Foundation, a private operating foundation, was established. The Foundation preserves and expands access to affordable housing properties for seniors and working families in the West and Midwest.

The Call Foundation (private) and Call to Action Foundation (private operating) are dedicated to increasing access to education, affordable housing, and food security for underserved communities throughout the West and Midwest. Since 2007, the foundations have invested more than $55 million to improve the lives of working families in our region. FJ Management’s subsidiary companies fund the mission of both foundations, including Maverik and Big West Oil.
